Amy Out in the Community Doing What She Loves!

HomeWell Care Services Plano joins local senior communities for birthday celebrations and a fashion show, spreading joy, connection, and support for aging in place.

One of the best parts of what we do at HomeWell Plano is showing up for seniors wherever they call home, not just with care, but with connection, celebration, and a whole lot of joy. And this week, Amy was right in her element: out and about, spreading cheer and soaking up community spirit!

First stop: Evergreen at Morning Star for a November Birthday Party sponsored by HomeWell! There’s something so special about gathering to celebrate another year of life, sharing stories, laughter, cake, and that sweet feeling of being seen and appreciated. Watching residents light up as their names were called and birthdays honored was a reminder of why these moments matter so much.

Then Amy headed to Atria Carrollton for a peek at a fabulous fashion show! From the smiles to the style, it was pure fun, and such a great reminder that aging in place doesn’t mean slowing down on living. Seniors deserve opportunities to celebrate who they are right now: vibrant, social, expressive, and full of life.
