Team Spotlight: Meet Amy Armistead!

HomeWell Care Services proudly spotlights Amy Armistead, a compassionate Community Relations Manager dedicated to supporting families and seniors across Texas.

Amy is a proud Texas native who grew up in the Dallas area and, after living in New Mexico, Colorado, and Arkansas, returned home nearly a decade ago to be closer to family and support her father’s health.

As one of HomeWell’s Community Relations Managers, Amy brings a dual academic background in Psychology and Communication and a heartfelt passion for connecting with people in meaningful, impactful ways. With roots in Human Resources and nearly a decade of experience in the Senior Living industry, Amy has dedicated her career to building relationships, fostering trust, and creating value for individuals and communities alike.

Driven by compassion and purpose, Amy finds joy in listening, understanding, and helping others, whether that means guiding families through important care decisions, collaborating with her team, or engaging with the community.

Outside of work, Amy has been happily married for 28 years to her husband, Michael, a U.S. Veteran and small business owner.

Together, they’re proud parents of two amazing young adults who fill their lives with joy. Their family also includes two lovable dogs—a Chorkie and a Golden Retriever, who keep things lively and full of love!

When she’s not working, Amy enjoys reading, researching, music, gardening, grilling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
